Satoshi Tomiie - The Masters Series (Renaissance)
This latest edition of the venerable “Masters Series” puts forth plenty of tasty and engaging tunes as Satoshi moves us through several different moods and sound styles; some jazzy, some a little funky, a few vocal, others techy or proggy, and in many instances a combination of these elements. But certainly the mix is on the deep tech-house side of things overall. The additional loops and chords Tomiie has layered in bring this work to that next level of DJing, where the line between unique production, and track selection are blurred.

Whether lounging or cruising, with tracks from the likes of Jimpster, Motorcitysoul, Jeff Bennett, Dave Brennan, Adultnapper, etc., this double disc set, from a cornerstone in dance labels, Renaissance, is sure to please.
