Frangellico - Believers EP (Jetlag Digital)
Release Date: November 6th, 2008
Reviewed: 4/5
User Rating: 3.9/5

Jetlag Digital is a German progressive label that has raced up to 27 releases in recent times. Previous episodes of the Jetlag story have been provided by the likes of DJ Taucher, Xaric, Federico Giust and the returning Frangellico. The latter is the featured artist on this 3 tracker and hails from Argentina.

The first track of the EP is called Believers and features distorted vocals coupled with solid bass stabs and a relentless melody. The vocals make it quite a distinctive tune, a good start to the EP for sure.

Next up is Nexus, a darker track, menacing to a certain degree and very solid indeed. There is a steepling arpeggio at work here as well as an evil metallic bassline, definitely another strong track on display here.

The final section of the EP is entitled Dark Angel, a dark atmospheric number that builds into an extended drop out mid-tune. This again, is a track of good quality and rounds off the EP nicely.

In summary, I can definitely recommend this release from Frangellico and Jetlag Digital. 3 progressive tracks of quality on display here, equally at home in a club or in a radio set.
