Biologik - Motion Theory EP (Proton Ltd.)
Release Date: October 29th, 2008
Reviewed: 3.5/5
User Rating: 3.9/5

Biologik delivers another weapon of mass destruction for Proton. This label, judging by recent releases alone, can do no wrong.

Motion Theory brings us beautiful gentle melodies that sear along under the deep dark backline, even strings fit in nicely with the glitchy sounds running throughout, peak or near peak time monster.

I Can Feel The Light again showcasing that glitchy progressive sound that seems very fresh to me, winding into a solid tribal rhythm, definitely a building block track.

Liberty Heights features echoing melodies over gentle percussion building up to a beautiful crescendo of sounds, one for the deep proggers.

Floating Molecules is by far the most stripped back and mellow track on the release, but it's warm sounds coupled with the some building progression make this track a subtle bomb, and my favourite of the release.

""I Can Feel The Night" by Biologil is just stunning. Kinda funky, rather naughty and heavy on the LOW END. *S*O*L*D*" - 4.0 / 5

"Quality release from Proton of some deep tech house. I can feel the night was my fav until I realized the low end really wasn't there as much as it is in their other productions. I think it could use some better low end production on this otherwise sweet track. Would love to catch some remixes of this." - 3.5 / 5
