This summer SLOK and Electronic Petz are holding a remix competition to find and greatly reward deserving artists for their talent.

Alessandro Russo aka SLOK is a DJ, producer, label manager, and the manager of the Italian radio Magma, which is broadcast over 45 fm radio stations. He has released on esteemed labels such as: Baroque, Turbo, Saw, Get Physical Music. You may recognize his name from the international club hit “Lonely Child”.

SLOK and Electronic Petz are asking contestants to submit their best remixes of SLOK’s track, “Deegustocosmicow” (Electronic Petz). The judges are seeking tech house or related modern dance music genre remixes that are original dance floor killers! They are looking for creative and innovative artist, so feel free to be as imaginative as you like; it does not need to have an obvious link to the original. Submissions should be received by August 1st, so there is no time to loose!

Grand prize winners will have their track digitally released on Electronic Petz and included on Tsugi Compilation (30,000) . They will also get a one hour set on Magma as well as a personal DJ page. Grand prize winners will also be interviewed by ibeats (UK) and Birago Jones of Syndicated Beats (Miami)via phone, and receive Electronic Petz designer T-shirts.

Runners up will have their remix digitally released on Electronic Petz and exclusively available on Beatport and Believe Digital, and will also have their name featured in a newsletter sent from the partner supporters of the contest, and 10 free tracks from the Electronic Petz back catalog.
